Here, you can change the appearance of this website. Your choice will be stored in a cookie, and every time you visit pages here, it will remember your colour scheme and display it

The cookies used here aren't personally identifiable -- if you look at them on your computer, they should say something like "style=3"

Browser compatibility

This site makes use of transparent PNG images for the titlebar, to ensure that they display properly regardless of the background colour selected.

Some browsers (such as Internet Explorer) do not properly support PNG images, so if you select an incompatible theme for this website, some images may display with a background that's the wrong colour.

There are some hacks to make Internet Explorer display transparent PNGs, so I'll give you the option of selecting those themes if you know your browser can handle them

The website should be valid HTML4.1 and valid CSS1 regardless of the theme chosen, so if you ever see it generating incompatible HTML, let me know...
